Custom designed and built off-grid home. This project was a collaboration with Intention Architecture and is an architecturally expressed post and beam structure with a hybrid of timber frame and bolted connections. Home is a 2 story 2 bedroom and 2 bath home that is roughly 2,000 square feet and has a detached garage with an apartment above. Home and garage are connected by elevated bridge walkway. Tension rod trusses, an elevated deck anchored by a mining style tower, elevated hanging tension rod bridges, a partial hand hewn log stack post and beam entry, are a few of the other custom features. The older mining architectural styles transition to the modern and bright living room with floor to ceiling windows from one end of the home to the other.
